'Los Muertos Fine Art Works' Day of the Dead Art Show & Celebration

La Fontana, Plaza Mercado

112 W. San Francisco St. Santa Fe, NM 87501 (Santa Fe Plaza, inside Plaza Mercado, next to Blue Corn Cafe´)

Celebration & Artists' Reception with Stacey & John Maldonado: Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014

2pm - 8pm

 

'Los Muertos' original paintings, giclees, framed art prints, chocolates, chocolate art tin boxes and more will fill the walls and be available for purchase, in this quaint and cozy adobe style flamenco studio, nestled in the heart of Santa fe's historic downtown District.

To celebrate Day of the Dead and set the mood of Dia de Los Muertos, Live Performances will entertain our beloved art collectors, friends and family (passed on and present) throughout the afternoon and evening.   La Fontnta's talented dancers, musicions and singers of all ages will perform such dances as lively 'Thriller' to the passionate and tragic 'Phantom of the Opera' to the whimsical and beautiful 'Pasadas de Calaveras'. *donations for entertainment graciously accepted

Refreshments are being generously donated by several Local sonsors for everyone's mouth-watering enjoyment. *see attached flyer

Raffle Prizes await to be won! For every $25 spent on the art or artisitic merchandise of your choice, a ticket bearing your name will be entered into the drawing to win! Raffle prizes will be on display at show. Drawing to be held at 8:00pm, end of celebration.*any donation made towards the performers and entertainment will also be valid to apply towards raffle tickets.

Come and unite with loved ones (passed on and present) for a show of art, dance, music, food, prizes and fun! Come in your best Calavera/ Skeleton attire! A celebration not to be missed for the whole family!

Santisima's 9th Annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration

Poco Apoco Patio - Albuquerque - Oid Town

Saturday November 1st, 2014 - 6pm - 11pm

If you're in the Albuquerque area, stop into Old Town to take part in this Dia de los Muertos celebration hosted by 'Santisima' and coordinated by none other than Johnny Salas. 

He brings the dead to life with a growing average of 1500 people in attendance every year and fills the night with a great celebration of music, alter displays, face painting, dances, a costume contest and better yet AWESOME art giveaways!

Our 'Los Muertos' art alongside 13 other artisans will be featured and available to buy & win!

We will not be there in person this year, due to our other show taking place at the same time in Santa Fe, however we will be there in sprirt, and many of our art pieces will be well represented there.

2014 South Valley Dia de los Muertos Marigold Parade & Celebration

WestSide Community Center

Sunday November 2nd, 2014 

2pm - 6pm (4 hrs Only)


This 4 hr show is an exciting event for the whole family, and definitely more lively than dead! It is hosted by 'Cambio' & 'La Raza Unida'. The Marigold Parade theme this year is "El agua es la Vida" "Water is life". This show features live music, altars, food, thousands of people in muertos costume, great muertos activities, and the best selection of muertos art available anywhere! The parade starts at the Bernalillo Sheriff's Sub Station (Centro Familiar & Isleta).
